  in the future
it all started while I was speaking to CK a few weeks ago on the phone - I realised that (since Singapore is some 13 hours ahead of Bogotá) CK is really in the future. I was ready to go to bed and sleep, and he was already having lunch the next day.

And today, when chatting to Ladi , who dropped me a message on his way to work in Auckland, I could enquire about Friday. Apparently the future is sunny. I'll see that tomorrow.

I conclude that I have friends who live in the future.

Comments:
How sad - this means that the majority of my friends on the planet live in the past... :(

Glad you enjoyed your time with Albe.

is living in the past a bad thing?

yes its true...and as a very cool 'peanuts' cartoon strip once said...

charlie brown: im always afraid the world will end one day.

linus: the world can never really end because its always tomorrow in some part of the world today....

Definitely ALL my friends live in the past then! Well...except for the new ones I have made here in the future.
Even Rob is six hours in the past from me!

in that case i made a trip back to the past when i came back... so i am in some kind of middle age while rob is in the "space age" and bee back in the ice age :)

... Arriving at each new city, the traveler finds again a past of his that he did not know he had: the foreigness of what you no longer are or no longer possess lies in wait for you in foreign, unpossessed places... (Italo Calvino)
