  check
The breathing city at night, from the window of our living room. I am sitting in a corner on a blanket in the bare room. Bogotá is cold, there were few clouds during sunset.

A new week is waiting, days that need to be turned into useful minutes, producing dreams and making them real. The past week was almost too much of it all:
  • Interesting follow-up meeting with Acción Social. Let's just say that we will follow-up much more from here...

  • Lunch: "Bandeja light" at Azahar is officially the best deal around. Entices devout carnivores to go veggie once a week. The price does drive things... my economics professors did have a point there.

  • Chats with my VPs from Manizales, Bucaramanga, Barranquilla, and Pereira. These guys rock Colombia.

  • Itinerary for IC confirmed: check. Bogotá - Atlanta - Gatwick - Luton - Warsaw - Dortmund - Madrid - Bogotá. ¡Qué emoción!

  • "Italian" monopoly. While I once won against a bunch of Italians in a fateful night in London about four-and-a-half years ago, I somehow was robbed, cheated and taken over by my Colombian team mates this week. Kind of makes me wonder...

  • Killepitsch. Introduced the DreamTeam to this sweet dizzy sirup proudly from beloved Düsseldorf.

  • Emails exchanged. Re-discovered the power of personal messages. Also my mobile here receives and sends SMS from and to Europe.

  • Indian food at Dhanur's. He cooks well, but gives really bad directions...

  • And mornings in the gym.

  • Jenn is hunting for a room or flat, soon I will have my own space, can make it my own.

  • Fourty minute skyping with Albe. Counting down the days, soon it will be hours, minutes, seconds.

  • As usual my mind is living all over the place.

    Comments:

... Arriving at each new city, the traveler finds again a past of his that he did not know he had: the foreigness of what you no longer are or no longer possess lies in wait for you in foreign, unpossessed places... (Italo Calvino)
