India and back again
Back from IC (definitely conceived, believed, achieved), I found myself back in our flat first in mountains of unwashed clothes, then washed clothes, with Sabi and me fighting for drying space. Sam is here, too, studying for his exams, so the only one missing in our little family is Zuzka, who has an exam back in Slovakia.
After settling in a bit, I went for a walk along the Aare, to calm down, and sat on a stone watching the rushing water with the eternal sound for a long time, finally without a thought in my head. The river had not changed much - only in a few places parts of the river bank bore marks of the floods from three weeks ago. And there is sand on the concrete path in some places where there wasn't any before. I walked home slowly, savouring dusk and the warm air, so fresh compared to Delhi.
Last night we had more heavy rain. It lulled me to sleep, deep sleep until well into the morning.
